Opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav reacts to speculations about Nishant Kumar’s political entry, calls it a natural transition.
Amid growing speculation about Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant Kumar joining politics, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has welcomed the possibility. Speaking in Hajipur, Yadav stated that if Nishant enters politics, it would be a positive development.
“Nishant’s entry is a welcome move, especially given his father’s health concerns. However, it is ironic that Nitish Kumar, who once spoke against dynastic politics, now leads a cabinet where 80% of ministers are from political families,” Yadav remarked.
He also criticized Bihar’s deteriorating law and order, referencing a recent attack on Congress MP Manoj Ram in Sasaram. In a social media post, Yadav pointed out the rising crime rates, highlighting that Bihar witnesses hundreds of rounds of gunfire daily without any concrete action from the administration.
As Bihar inches closer to the next elections, discussions on Nishant Kumar’s potential political career are intensifying. While his entry remains uncertain, the debate over dynastic politics and governance continues to shape the state’s political landscape.
